Tuning my qin calms me down, especially if I'm tuning by ear and there's no time constraint (tuners only make you more frustrated because they never pick up the proper note). Middle E produces weird noises that I cannot identify the cause of despite applying all techniques that I already know.
Then realised that the mian ban was absolutely dirty, so I wiped it with magiclean, and horrors of all horrors, the crack is back! Even bigger than before :( I wonder if I should just give up on this qin and buy a new one.
