So we went out for lunch today, after a most interesting practice, to sort of welcome her back.
Most interesting journey there too - where halfway there on 10, someone suddenly recalled that 10 didn't lead us to dhoby ghaut! Nothing much happened after that, save a mad scramble down the double decker bus to hop off at the next stop to wait for 14 to trot along.
Lunch was at
Lao Beijing, consisting of a stumptuous buffet of dian xin. Lots of photos to see too. It would be nice to spend some time in another country, for either studies, leisure, or business - there's so much to see, so much to learn, so much to know. It's the whole exposure thing that's more valuable than the aim of going there itself.
I want to leave! Take a little breather away from all these - a little weekend cruise will be nice :)
